Exceptional Genoese chest of drawers, made of carved walnut, known as Bambocci.
It opens with six drawers in four rows.
Cartridge emblazoned in the center of the 1st row of drawers, framed by two loves holding a crown and hiding a secret drawer.
Carved characters on magnifying veneer background form the drawer sockets.
Carved figures of characters and fantastic animal heads.
The edge of the tray has foliage and animal heads, in the center and in the corners.
Imposing cornice highlighting the base, all resting on four claw feet.
Period: late 16th or early 17th century.
There are some repairs in the funds and side panels.
