Most of our clients are individuals or other merchants. But it happens that certain objects or furniture hold the attention of institutions such as associations, museums or castles.

Chambord Castle is a well-known castle in the Loire Valley (Val de Loire) :

Last month, we received the Superintendent of Chambord national estate collections, Denis GRANDEMENGE in our store. According to his phone call, we have booked him an inkwell (or inkstand) Regency period available on our website.

The object was reserved, so Mr. GRANDEMENGE could organize to come and see firsthand and then buy it, as the members of the collections Committee have spoken positively about his acquisition.

Mr. GRANDEMENGE subsequently been kind enough to send us photos of the inkwell situation:

"Hello Mr. Havas,
As agreed, I send you attached photographs of the now inkstand to its location : the workroom of Marshal Saxe and before, Louis XIV 's workroom. It is presented on a desk by Joseph, from the Ministry of War at Versailles.
Thank you again for your welcome.
Sincerely, Denis GRANDEMENGE. "
