Elegant drop front secretary stamped Nicolas Petit and JME in rosewood and amaranth veneer. It bears the N PETIT and JME stamps on the front right pillar.
The flap has a rosewood veneer, arranged in butterfly wings and framed by two tinted nets, one Greek style in the corners and another framed in amaranth.
Behind this flap, the interior is composed of six drawers but which simulate eight.
Similarly, another simulation in the lower part suggests six drawers in front while it opens with four drawers: two large and two small.
The amounts are with cut sides and veneered with false tinted grooves.
The sides form two panels and, like the flap, are clad in butterfly wings and framed with tinted and amaranth nets.
Pretty gilded bronzes: rosettes, entrances, falls and apron.
The main lock, with three points, and the small locks are original.
Veined white marble top, with a groove.
Work in perfect condition and from the LOUIS XVI period.
