Very nice cylinder desk Louis XVI period, mahogany and veneer mahogany, surmounted by a showcase.
A white marble, encircled by a gallery in openwork bronze, covers the showcase which opens by two glass doors and three drawers, the whole being framed of posts with grooves.
The cylinder reveals a pull-out on the front and three interior drawers; the rounded uprights are also corrugated.
It rests on tapered and fluted feet. The belt has three drawers.
Beautiful golden bronze trim: hoofs, rings, lock entrances, handles, gallery and molded beaded beads for doors, drawers and cylinder.
Perfect condition, bronzes have been regilt.
