Cherry writing desk, Louis XV era

Cherry writing desk, animated on the three faces and with a curved facade.
It opens with three belt drawers in molded frames.
The four legs are curved, molded, carved and terminated by windings.
Low crosspieces also molded with scrolls, carved flowers and leaves.
The sides are made of three flatbed panel.
Behind the flap, there are five curved drawers and a small sliding panel for a hiding place.
The wrought iron compasses, the brass trim and the drawer locks are original.
The leather has been changed but it is old and weathered, as the lock of the flap.
In very good condition, neatly made in an unusual wavy wild cherry.
Work of Louis XV period.
