Beautiful wall clock called lantern, with a single hand and pewter dial on a brass plate engraved with flowers and foliage. 
Lanterns and feet in turned brass.
It strikes the hours and a half, with two hammers on a single bell. Exhaust rod, it has its original weights.
This clock is signed Le Bel in Orbec on the dial: an unusual Norman watchmaker.
In very good condition, all that remains is to clean it to give it a second life.
Dial's diameter measures 6.7 in.
Period: early 18th century.
