Pretty cage clock in gilded bronze, Louis XVI style.
The cage is topped with a vase on a pedestal. On the front, a knot connects garlands of flowers on each side of the movement. Below, fixed on the glass, is a bronze decorated with a basket of fruit, foliage and vine vines.
On the sides, the bronzes, also fixed on the glass walls, are decorated with a knot and flower branches.
White marble base with 4 spinning top legs, decorated with a frieze of scrolls of flowers.
Sun pendulum, all glass walls are beveled.
Movement by Vincenti et Cie, silver medal in 1855: Vincenti et Cie in Paris, installed rue d'Anjou au Marais in 1850 and rue Saintonge in 1860.
Good quality work, from the Napoleon III period. Some wear to the gilding.
