Beautiful Art Deco chandelier, in copper, glass and mirrors, by Henry Petitot.
Made up of a cylindrical base, with a domed dome below. 6 copper branches in a semi-circle arc are fixed on the side of the cylinder. Each of these branches has a copper socket holder at its end, surmounted by a fluted glass dish. The cup is fixed by a copper ring.
Pretty frosted glass bulb cover in the shape of a rocket.
Each branch is separated from its neighbor by a frieze made up of 4 small mirrors.
The whole is connected to the ceiling by a copper rod, decorated with a bail cover itself in copper, of conical shape and with triple projection.
This rod is also surrounded by a dozen glass rods, arranged at an angle starting from the cylinder and piercing a copper dome halfway up the rod.
Very nice work from the Art Deco period, probably around the 1940s. No signature, but the model is referenced: Henry Petitot for Ateliers Petitot.
Very good general condition: completely dismantled for cleaning and polishing; there are some slight traces of oxidation on the underside of the branches as well as a socket holder partially unsoldered from the branch (without consequence).
Electrification redone to current standards.
