More info

Hans Wegner is considered one of the founders of modern Danish design: he designed and produced a large number of pieces of furniture, always of high quality and responding perfectly to the codes of Scandinavian design.
This rolling table, bar cart or teak sideboard is an example: designed for the publisher Andreas Tuck in Denmark in the 1960s, it has almost no right angles in order to best respect an organic and refined design, while curves and curves.
The two trays, in teak veneer, are framed by crosspieces with rounded edges in solid teak. They are thinned along the lengths and hollowed out with handles in the widths. They are joined by rounded feet ending in wheels (new, the old ones were too damaged).
Two hot-engraved stamps under the lower plate:
- "FABRIKAT: ANDR. TUCK- ARKITEKT: HANS J.WEGNER- DENMARK"
- "MADE IN DENMARK".
Very good general condition: furniture completely cleaned, original varnish revived and teak oil finish.
There are small stains that cannot be removed.
Several possibilities for diverting this type of furniture: as a TV stand/box/game console or even as a furniture for a Hi-Fi system or vinyl turntable. You can also remove the wheels to turn it into a side table.
