Very nice little walnut box with a folk art decor, Savoyard or Auvergnat, consisting of round friezes, triangles and notches, lines and a central rose window at the outlet.
It opens from the top, over half of the cover. It closes with a nice lug articulated and etched wrought iron, which was to host a padlock.
Probably dates from the early nineteenth century (first half)
