Very pretty painting of apple blossoms in Normandy, one of the specialties of Louis Edouard Garrido who knew how to render the atmosphere of Normandy landscapes so well.
At the end of this afternoon, under the apple trees in spring, the farmer comes to collect her cows and bring the hens in a soft and light light.
Oil on hardboard as very often with Garrido who used to work outdoors.
This painting, signed lower right, was purchased directly from the artist and has remained in the same family since. It is in its original setting.
