Magnificent and rare pair of chandeliers from Maison Perzel.
Their structures are made up of two cylinders in white lacquered metal, connected to each other by three vertical fixing bars leaving an opening between the two.
The lighting is done by a central bulb: it diffuses its light through a holophane glass above, a frosted glass below and through the side opening, filtered at this place by a cylindrical aluminum strip.
Fixing to the ceiling is done using an aluminum rod with a cover at each end. In this aluminum stem, we find a system for adjusting the height of the bulb.
Modernist work dating from the 1960s. Only one of the two is signed inside: J. PERZEL.
Electrification has been fully checked.
A note: some traces of oxidation or lack of varnish on the aluminum. The cylinders have been repainted. The frosted glass plates are new. One of the bail covers was pierced.
