Very beautiful floor lamp from the French manufacturer Arlus, model "Astrolabe".
It rests on a brass tripod base, from which 8 black lacquered steel rods form a conical beam.
This beam is surmounted by a brass assembly, formed successively of a plate, a small pedestal, the 6-branch astrolabe and finally, a cone equipped with a push-button switch. The whole crossed by a hollow rod or pass the electrification.
It illuminates with 3 bulbs, diffusing behind a cylindrical lampshade (attached). A small metal cone is used to lock the shade to the top.
Modernist work from the 1960s.
It has been completely re-electrified to current standards, completely disassembled and reassembled to be able to polish the brass parts and repaint the bundle of steel rods.
Some shocks to the tripod base, two small flaws on the back of the lampshade and partially degilded finishing cone.
