Cast brass candle holder with scrolls, foliage, gadroons and angel heads decorations.
Work from the Renaissance or Louis XIII period.
Superb 17th century candlestick.
It is in cast and chiseled brass, with the basin with a raised edge and set on a turned barrel, decorated with foliage and gadroons.
This barrel is riveted on a triangular base, itself placed on three sides decorated with relief angels' heads and on three feet fixed on balls and decorated with flowery volutes.
In very good condition: a few tin welds in the basin and on 2 of the 3 balls.
