In order to present their work to the public and offer them a window other than their workshops hosted Frédéric Havas 3 craftsmen, with whom he works regularly, as part of the European Métiers d'Art Days which took place on 27, 28 and March 29, 2015 :
- Elisabeth DEFORTESCU, painting restorer
- Camille GUEGUEN, cabinetmaker
- Bertrand HEUDRON, gilder
Installed in the antique shop at 15 Place Saint Martin, they were able to answer many questions from visitors and make several demonstrations of their trades.
Indeed, it seemed important to us to know more about these artisans that we use throughout the year to restore objects and furniture that we offer for sale.
The passion for their profession having equaled their expertise, meetings were particularly interesting for the public and for the artisans whose work deserves to be highlighted.
Customers regularly ask us for addresses of craftsmen which appeal to restore their objects. Often they do not know who to call or do not dare to cross the door of the workshop.
Unfortunately, it is the lack of controls or work to be performed that erase our craftsmen.
Given the success of this edition (orders, enriching encounters) we are already planning to repeat the operation next year.
But do not expect this event to reach out to them: do not hesitate to contact them to discover their quality work.
